A Stunning Spring Wedding at Sutton Bonington Hall

On the 30th of May, I had the pleasure of photographing Jo and Ben’s intimate wedding at the stunning Sutton Bonington Hall. Despite a little rain, nothing could dampen the joy and love that filled the air. The beautiful grounds and charming venue provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.

Venue:

Sutton Bonington Hall is a gem nestled in the countryside, with beautiful architecture and picturesque gardens. The historic charm of the hall, combined with its elegant interiors, makes it a perfect venue for a wedding.

The day began with Jo and her bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal room, which overlooked the lush gardens of Sutton Bonington Hall. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as the ladies prepared for the big day.

Meanwhile, Ben got ready in a separate location but arrived at the venue in time to greet the guests. I captured some candid moments of him and his son in the cozy library, setting the tone for a day full of heartwarming memories.

The ceremony was held in the drawing room, with two heartfelt readings that added a personal touch to the proceedings. The love and emotion in the room were palpable as Jo and Ben exchanged their vows.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and mingling in the beautiful gardens. The light drizzle didn’t deter anyone, and I took the opportunity to capture some wonderful group photos, with everyone beaming with happiness.

The wedding breakfast was served in the conservatory, which was bathed in natural light. The delicious meal was enjoyed by all, and the setting provided a lovely, relaxed atmosphere for everyone to savour.

The speeches were a highlight of the day, filled with humour and touching moments. Laughter echoed through the room as friends and family shared stories and well-wishes for Jo and Ben.

After the speeches, I took Jo and Ben aside for some intimate photos of just the two of them. The stunning grounds of Sutton Bonington Hall provided a perfect backdrop, and the love between the couple shone through in every shot.

Just as we finished the shot the evening guests arrived, and the celebrations continued. The cake was cut, followed by a heartfelt first dance. The evening ended with everyone chatting and enjoying each other’s company, a perfect conclusion to a perfect day.
